In high school, I had a friend who used that stuff to get high. His lefty NOW mom caught him. Her response? "Why can't you just use pot like the rest of the kids!"

He turned out ok.

The inhalers used 'medical' CFC and were not dangerous except in the mind of those who bought into the Ozone and later Climate Change BS.

CFC inhalers have been around since the 1950's and were a major breakthrough in the treatment of asthma and other chronic respiratory diseases. The emergency inhalers saved untold number of lives by either stopping an attack or buying time to get to an emergency room for treatment.

The warming you saw has to do with 'huffing'; the young and dumb getting high by inhaling all the propellants, volatile vapor and heaven knows what else, from an aerosol cans or glue.
