Good point. Clint is secure in himself and has the confidence to know he can say what needs to be said when he gets up on stage.
Another insight from this article, is that Romney personally invited Clint to the convention to have time on stage. Romney and the campaign had enough confidence in Clint to not vet his script (there was none!) and trust him go up on stage and be Clint.
Yeah, that stood out to me right away. Romney and his team impressed me with that, btw. It speaks volumes concerning not only Clint’s character to be so trusted, but Romney as well. More than theoretically, Clint could have ruined Romney with a major slip up.
