The major networks skipped the closing prayer of the DNC in Charlotte. Here is Cardinal Timothy Dolan delivering the prayer.

Some of that speech must have gone down like hot poison to the Commies and Rats in attendance.

Cardinal Dolan’s benediction was a work of inspired genius. He hit all the high points that needed to be made to this particular audience and to the world: the sanctity of life, religious freedom, traditional marriage. To deliver this message in the Lion’s Den, as it were, took a tremendous amount of courage and conviction that could only come from God. Watching the faces of those attending the convention was priceless. A few seemed to be edified by the Cardinal’s words, but I saw a lot of annoyed and hostile faces, and not a few faces that were convicted and struggling with guilty consciences. Bless you, Cardinal Dolan.

I predicted here on FR that Networks would not air Cardinal Dolan’s closing prayer at the DNC.

Oh my!

Did you see the sour faces on the gal at 3:48?

Guess she never heard that we are to pray for those who seek to harm us.

Made a point of watching it on CSPAN. Many in the audience did not like it, but Obama needed the appearance of traditional belief because the non-religious are still not a large enough population. Never heard what happened to the Islamic prayer session. Seems they beat tail on that. Just like Gay marriage, they'll openly abandon Christianity when conditions are more favorable.

I watched it live last night on CSpan....but I was glad someone reposted it. WOW. He hit the dems hard on their platform

abortion / life - grant us the courage to defend it, benediction on those waiting to be born, “those not born yet”,

gays - happiness is found only in respecting the laws of nature and nature’s God.

obamacare - elders cherished with the dignity due those who are infirm and fragile

religious liberty - first most cherished liberty

gay marriage - empower us to resist the temptation to replace the moral law with laws of our own making or to remake those institutions that you have given us for the nuturing of life and community

then ends it with reminding the audience we are one nation under God, in God we Trust.

WOWsa

I watched it on FOX. No doubt many lines in the prayer went totally against what those hordes of libs believe. I imagine most there did not like it one bit. It was a very good prayer, blessing the family and urging protection of those in the womb to birth. Almost like asking for forgiveness for what went on there.

I hope he wasn’t praying TO the DNC. What a waste of breath.

and/or reminding those Christians in attendance and in their homes what God wants us to aspire to regardless of any "platform".
