“Does anyone ever feel like this is a big game of good cop bad cop?
At the end of the day, Obama and Romney all adjourn to sip cognac, smoke fine cigars, slap each other on the back and LAUGH!! We sure put one over on the rubes!!!”
Not Obama and Romney exactly, but their surrogate overlords, yes.
Obama’s not that bright; he truly isn’t.
He understood the power of a narrative (particularly a false one), and he allowed himself to be turned into a BRAND-—but that came easy to him because he has no core, which is why Eastwood’s chair was so powerful. Eastwood was the right person at the right moment to point out that the emperor is naked.
Romney is bright, but insulated. He doesn’t know what he is getting into yet. It will be a sobering shock.
We have to fill the house and senate with conservatives.

The most damaging thing you can do to a brand is Over-promise, then-under-deliver. It’s FATAL. Every time.
That is exactly what has happened to the BRAND of Barack Obama.
