If you read the article.... you'll see Boehner was off the reservation and was about to sell us out. Cantor, the majority leader and tea party supporter, was not a party to the talks and found out only after Boehner initiated them
In this case Obama pushed Boehner out the door when he asked for more tax increases beyond the ones that Boehner had already sold The republicans out for.....

You statement is amazing and speaks volume. This book shows how bad 0bama is and all you can do is focus on Boehner.

Boehner gets far too much respect on FR IMO.
He’s s slithery snake who should be replaced in the next Congress.
(Though I very much doubt that will happen.)
