Exactly. A 2/3 majority should be TWICE as loud as the opposition. Someone’s going to take a decibel meter to this and have some fun with it.

My guess is that the party bigwigs knew that taking "God" and the Jerusalem thing out of the platform was political suicide, so the vote was fixed. I think Villaraigosa redid the vote 3 times because he was waiting for the dumbass delegates to get a clue and start vocally supporting the re-instatement, but I guess many of them didn't get the memo, heh.
