Savage is old enough to know the real Democratic Party. He has to be aware that in the 1970s the radicals took over the Party and liberals started leaving the Party. The rank-and-file haven't all realized what has happened.
Sure, the Democratic Party was pretty much corrupt and SOBs but they used to be our SOBs.
BTW, I just heard Savage say that someone told him that he (Savage) is God's messenger.. I have always believed that Savage was "called" to do what he is doing -- make that much of what he is doing. We can do without the braggadocio and the trashing of competitors.
Is everyone hearing that commercial apparently claiming that President Reagan claimed all the miracle drug for himself or otherwise hide the drug from the public? Now that drug is available for everyone -- free just give them your credit card so they can bill you monthly for future shipments.. the old Columbia Record Club trick from the 1950s: get a popular LP for pennies (but just try and stop them from shipping LPs every month at inflated prices!).
I'm guessing what the commercial is.. I cannot stand to hear the guy's voice. I have never listened to the whole thing. One "nonpartisan" radio show has even presented the guy as a "guest" on the show -- for the time that it takes to air the commercial!
