Here’s one of the problems with Clinton’s claim that no President could have improved the economy in 4 years - Obama failed based on the criteria HE established when they implemented the stimulus. HE Said unemployment wouldn’t go above 8% and that it would be under 6% right now. RR have to hammer this in ads. Any CEO who missed by that much would be fired.

And, Clinton has repeated the half-truth about the 4.5 million jobs — so he’ll get tarred with the same brush as those facts become clear to everyone. Net maybe 300,000 new jobs, including burger-flipping, in an economy that needs that many a month.
