The weather shouldn’t have mattered. Enthusiastic Obama supporters wouldn’t have minded listening to Obama’s acceptance speech in the rain. Do football teams have trouble attracting full crowds in the rain? Never.
Obama’s problem is that he cannot attract large crowds, and it was a mistake by the Obama team to try to fill a 74,000-seat stadium for an Obama speech, even though they had weeks to prepare.
If Obama truly believes Democrats aren’t hardy enough to put up with a little rain to listen to one of his speeches, what does he think will happen if it rains on Election Day in Democratic districts?
“The president arrives, the rain stops, the sun comes out. Coincidence? I think not.”

- Rahm Emanuel Mayor Rahm Emanuel opened his introduction of Obama with a riff on his power to deliver: “The president arrives, the rain stops, the sun comes out. Coincidence? I think not.”
Emanuel went on to point out Obama could have worked for a high-powered law firm out of law school, but “he picked the South Side, with steelworkers.”
Pelosi: Obama can’t control the weather

Oh ye of little faith! ( sarc.)
Yep, I would worry about lightning coming out of a clear sky too!
Hmmm, an “Act of God”?
I guess He wasnt amused at the Dems taking Him out of the platform.
Nancy P-brain gets her meds mixed up once in awhile.
Just listened to an obama butt kisser congratulating him for “protecting” the people from lightning and storms by moving it inside. In other words, he said the people were too stupid and would have sat in a lightning storm, so obama had to take charge and protect them.
But....but....we were told he would stop the rise in the oceans and he would heal the planet.
If there’s one thing he can control its the amount of flies that will infest the area.
