The Charlotte metro area has approx. 2 million people (800K in Charlotte proper) and Obama can’t fill a 74,000 seat stadium on his big night? Not even with free bus rides and free ham sandwiches?

That Arena is cursed, first it is the home of the lowly Charlotte Bobcats, and now this.

I am not a math whiz, so correct me if I am wrong, but when I did the math 74,000 is only .037% of 2 million. So if no other people from anywhere else in the country attended the speech, less than 4% of the Charlotte metro would have to attend to fill the seats for an historic event. If the Obama campaign is having to bus people in, that is really pitiful.

free ham sandwiches?

Bad call. Many of Obama's biggest fans don't eat ham.
