the only oversight i see Matt, is the ability of the MUYs to accept/integrate a whoooole bunch of their trained comrades into leadership positions...

The essay was already very long at 5,600 words, so I felt I could not go on with the predictable next escalations in the urban warfare scenario. But the urban vets will quickly grasp the importance of long range riflery, and soon the “no-man’s lands” will be rifle distance or greater. Anybody living in that zone will be out of luck, to say the least.
