We do what we can. Our biggest threat is a hurricane so that is how we are designing it. It will be very helpful when the next Ike comes roaring through. It is better than letting people die from lack of water.

Oh, I'm not criticizing having backups, reserves, and contingency plans. I'm an engineer, and so am a big fan of having a Plan B,C,...Z. I'm just wary of blanket statements like "we will have running water. Period".

When the disaster arrives, is when we find out what we've overlooked.
