You are expressing pure opinion. Your opinion is an insult to every one of the hundreds of black people I know. I worked in this community for 40 years and know the people and their attitudes.
The great preponderance of the black community will celebrate an end to government oppression by stipend. I am basing that understanding on the work of churches and business people to rid their community of these terrible government induced racist forces.
Lots of slaves were afraid of an end to slavery. Democrats have been capitalizing on those fears since emancipation.

You're the one who played the race card.

Have you ever even read a study about starvation? And it's pure Unicorns and skittles to think that anyone is going to deliver into an area that's rioting. The Rodney King riots are a good example - the firefighters couldn't even go into neighborhoods without being shot at, and they were there to help people.

What you wrote may help me understand why ‘The Party of Lincoln’ has had little appeal, emotionally, to descendants of slaves that were emancipated by Lincoln.

Thanks.

And how successful and transformative have THEY been? Do you see anyone here criticizing Black "business people" or "churches?" How did THEY escape the evil government boogie man?

Viewing the entirety of a community by the actions of select members is the very definition of "prejudice." And that is exactly what you are proposing here.

That you are doing so to commend rather than condemn the Black community, is no less bigoted than any other racist.
