Obama campaign senior adviser David Axelrod called the Republican convention a "terrible failure" on Sunday and said the event had failed to help Mitt Romney in the polls.
Speaking on Fox News, Axelrod said he "saw no movement" for Romney in the polls during the GOP convention. "I don't really see any bounce," he said.
Axelrod added that the GOP's "snarky attacks and bromides for the base" in Tampa had put Democrats in a strong position to begin their own convention this week in Charlotte, N.C.
"I think the race is exactly where it was before they walked in [to Tampa], and now it's our turn," he said.

Fantastic new Romney web ad: A Better Future
A great new inspirational web ad from the Romney campaign:
At the Republican National Convention, Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan outlined their plan for a stronger middle class and their vision for the future. They were joined by Republican leaders throughout the country who will join with them in restoring our nation. Working together, they are committed to securing the promise of America for the next generation.

The Hitler look-alike is DELUSIONAL......he’s a DEMOCRAT, of course he’s delusional.
So what, Axelrod or whatever your name is.
“Axelrod”
That sounds like an auto part.
“Yeah, your Axelrod is out of the turretnest. It’s gonna cost you $158 to repair it.”
Axelrod was mentored by two veteran communists/sympathizers, id. CPUSA member and refused to register Agent of a Foreign Power (Soviet Union), David S. Canter, and Don Rose, avowed “progressive” since the late 1940’s and supporter of Communist fronts and causes.
They even hired Axelrod to write for their extremely leftistt Kenwood-Oakwood-Hyde Park newspaper which featured CPUSA propaganda, starting with its first issue.
It is safe to call Axelrod at least a “Pink Diaper Baby.” With more evidence (interesting how things about his mother can’t be found), we might even be able to call him a “Red Diaper Baby.”
Either way, I also call him a total schmuck who looks like Hitler, sounds like Julius Streicker/Joseph Goebbels, and has the sanity of Charles Manson at dinner.
The Republican convention’s main theme was the economy and getting people jobs. Can anyone explain to me why illegal immigration was not addressed? Afterall America now houses aprroximately 20-40 million illegal aliens of whom at least half have taken American jobs.
