Why not? If you are a supportive member of that church, then you are one of the people that has destroyed it for the rest if us. I too grew up in it, and I’m angry it has become the gay church. It is people like you that don’t realize, through their continued support, that YOU are the brush stroke.
Sorry, it’s one thing to deride an institution, it’s a whole nother deal to brushstroke individuals. I have issues w/ the organization that is the Catholic church, but I would NEVER take it out on the individual who is Catholic.
