"The large Rushmore-style sculpture drew comparisons to Mr. Obama's 2008 convention in Denver, when he accepted his party's nomination on a stage that looked like a Greek temple."

It's all rather disturbing for me. It takes me back to my time in central Africa. Strutting petty dictators. Grandiose statuary. Crumbling monuments to kleptocrats. Soaring Greek revival crap housing a central bank completely gutted by corruption, incompetence, and malice of forethought...and it's all happening here.

Styrofoam Greek Columns, and statues made of sand. How foolish the leadership of america has become since it turned its back on God.
