Why did you ping me to that comment? ---- "We don't care who the nominee is, other than get Akin out."

I am really getting pissed off about being misrepresented here. Apparently my real position does not matter when you circle the wagons. Yes, I want Akin gone. Gone because of the damage he has done to the pro-life movement and damage across the country. He handed the pro-aborts a gift that will keep on giving until November.

I have made it frigging clear --- I want McCasKILL gone. How many times do you need to hear it? I want McCasKILL gone. I want McCasKILL gone. I want McCasKILL gone. My suggestion, which I even discussed on the phone with a member of the Central Committee, was that Akin be allowed to name his replacement --- a pro-life conservative. It is not anyone but Akin. It is an equally committed pro-life conservative who will beat McCasKILL. I don't know any truly pro-life conservative who would find acceptable a replacement who was not both conservative and strongly pro-life.

If you are going to try to pin crap on me for something I didn't say and don't believe, do not ping me. I loathe intellectual dishonesty; from the left as well as from some on our side.

That is why I pinged you. You have been as vocal about getting rid of Akin as anyone on this forum. If you don't want to get pinged to Akin threads, then don't comment on them. I for one am going to do what I can to see that he gets elected. That will be a giant victory for the pro-life movement because it will show that even pro-life candidates who put their foot in their mouths can beat establishment republicans and democrats in battleground states.

What Rove said here is not only worse than what Akin said, but it could be considered a crime. If he had said the same thing about Obama, then he'd be getting a visit from the Secret Service about now.

Rove wants Akin replaced by a liberal Republican clone of himself. He wants a yes man for Romney's agenda. Anyone who replaces Akin, be it as a result of his resignation or his murder, will be a GOP-E social liberal in the mold of Rove.

So Doug, are you finally getting ready to REFUDIATE Rove?

Even if you've done that many times in the past, you have to do it again you know.

I wanted Akin out of there to, and I wanted Romney out of there for the exact same reasons. Rove and others flipped me the bird on that one, so now we are stuck with Romney ~ it's fair to stick everybody with Akin.

Until we figure a way out of this business of 'sticking people with candidates they neither like nor want' we're going to limp along losing elections and governing authority while at the same time the drooling and cackling Democrats continue to rack up incredible national debt totals!

What I"d like to know is why Rove was so selective in his rage ~ and that's what it is, too, rage. Could it be that he recognized if he said that about a Democrat candidate he'd be in the federal lockup in Central Florida by now?

Well I support you Doug. But there is no sense wasting your time arguing with idiots. They are just using Akin as a hobby horse for their various agendas. However I think it is too late to replace Akin, therefore I believe we should let it go and support the idiot since he is the lesser evil. McCaskill needs to go
