As one who was a part of the OPSEC support apparatus, I can say there are ways to tell the story of what happened without discussing confidential or classified details of the tactics and intelligence once the operation has been completed. I can’t wait to receive the book to find out for myself and to make an educated decision on his liability.
When we got all of the stories of the no-brainer decision to strike, what the subsequent stories of how things went down, and how those were fashioned and released to make the Kenyan look good, they opened the door on the declassification part of the story.
