Hmm, sounds like a good plug for “Road ID” - never ride alone. I always wear mine when riding.
Also, bikes on the road are supposed to follow “road rules” not “pedestrian rules” - although a number of vehicle drivers and bike riders don't know that.

I believe that "road rules" include :
a. "Comply with traffic signs/signals". And
b. "Don't start a fight when you screw up".
(I will refrain from any snide comments on the difference between Kevlar and Spandex.)
