I am a Canadian who has visited and enjoyed this site for years. The liberals and socialists have dominated my province(state) and Federal government for years BUT we now have Conservative majorities at both levels.
We did it by leading from right wing strengths. They are as follows:
1- The economy ;even the left believes the right are better managers
2-law and order ; almost everyone believes in the equal application of the law. Illegal immigrants are cheaters and no one likes a cheater. The only reason that people are not totally outraged by Obama allowing illegal immigrants children work is that morally you can they were not cheaters
there parents were.
3-Military and Defence

Forget about abortion gay marriage etc ,no San Francisco Liberal will be persuaded to change their minds on these issues nor any other voters.

Stay on message! The only answer by Romney/Ryan to ANY question
Should be “the economy is a disaster and it is Obama’s fault
fault!”
If the press ask what time it is the answer should be “the economy is a disaster and it is Obama’s fault”!
If they ask about abortion or gay marriage same answer. It is the economy “stupid”.
Romney will win if he leads from the rights strength and stays on message.
When you have power then you can chip away on the social issues but do NOT campaign on them.

Is all Canada conservative or just your province. What is your province?

Sometimes I think that my escape route should be Canada should the SHTF here in the US Pacific Northwest. In fact, if I could make it to Whistler I’d be happy forever. :-)))))

Here is my answer to you and any other social issue surrender monkey, Canadian or American, who does not care about 55 million sliced, diced and hamburgerized babies to date, religious persecution (by BOTH Obama and Romney) of the Roman Catholic Church to which I belong and each and every other pro-life church (by requiring them to subsidize abortion and other evils), fudge-packing perverts posing as "married" with an anus or two substituting for a vagina or two, and who has surrendered on social issues.

Many American conservatives have decided that the GOP-E has finally burned its bridges. If that means that the trust funds of the brainless windtunnels Muffy and Skipper (Myth's specialty) and their respective brain dead and morally dead pals at the Junior League and the Polo Club will be destroyed by the natural consequences of nominating an evil POS of an elitist like Myth Romney (aka Mittler), so be it. Maybe the GOP-E won't be able or as eager to buy any future nominations as they bought this one.

No one I know of named Romney has EVER served this country or Western Civilization in our military any more than Obozo has: not Myth, not his daddy "brainwashed" George, his mommy Lenore, or any of his five sons. They are always too busy as "missionaries" during their prime military years to even enter ROTC much less serve as enlisted personnel. If daddy George was any example, then Myth is probably even less trustworthy than the Demonrats on national defense. May God bless and help our military personnel since NEITHER of the major party candidates will.

Neither Myth nor Obozo have EVER displayed any interest whatsoever in "law and order," except in so far as it may protect "gated communities" and other elite enclaves.

Either Myth or Obozo will be beaten and therefore destroyed this November. Conservatives will celebrate then as half of thejob will be done, no matter WHO survives. The Resistance to the "winner" or survivor starts as soon as he has been declared the "winner."

I and most American conservatives really don't give a damn whether the San Fransicko Rump Rangers change their minds or not. If they try to succeed in the USA in jailing their critics for being critics, they run up against our First Amendment. If they try to jail our religious leaders for preaching according to the Scriptures as is apparently common in Canada, they will get smacked by not only freedom of speech but also freedom of religion (See First Amendment again and regard it as a useful guide to what SHOULD be enacted in your country if you want to try to re-establish Western Civilization there).

Unless and until you have SOCIAL CONSERVATIVES in charge in Canada, you do not have "Conservative" majorities as understood in the USA, merely soul dead less "liberal" and more materialist majorities.

How are you guys doing on guns, babies, marriage (the real kind), "global 'warming'" mythology as public policy, something resembling fiscal conservatism, replacing gummint edjamakashun with private sector actual education, aggressive foreign and military policy, etc.???

There was a leading fellow in Roman history named Cato the Elder who famously said that the Romans should fight the Third Punic War against Carthage, utterly destroy Carthage (no more Mr. Nice Roman), burn the houses of the Carthaginians, salt their fields and leave not a stone lying upon a stone until no one in the future will be able to prove or know where Carthage had been. Substitute the GOP-Establishment for the Carthaginians and that sounds like a plan for our times.

My grandfather left New Brunswick and came to the USA in approximately 1901, dying in the Spanish Influenza of 1918-1919. The recent history of Canada (since, say, the rise of Pierre Elliot Trudeau) makes me ever more thankful that he left although his dad was a long-serving member of your parliament and a successful merchant.

You would have actual conservatives governing Canada if you took an analogous path to that of American social conservatives.

Really, forget about the dismemberment of babies and burning to death by salting of babies, sucking out the babies brains when are viable........oh hell no.
Please do not claim to be a conservative, then in the same breath say, forget about it.
Romney wont chip away at either issue as he is pro-abortion and pro-homosexual agenda.
