“There is no historical exception to this warning.”

I believe there are exceptions to all rules.

John Adams was a mere mortal like the rest of us. Perhaps, that is why I find our Founders so “exceptional”. They were human beings and subject to all the same human frailties as every other human being. Most of them were as different from one another as any group of men could be.

However, they chose to face their fears, put their personal idiosyncrasies aside and fight the tyranny. In other words, they came together for the common good of all.

“Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from THE CONSENT OF THE GOVERNED. That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the RIGHT OF THE PEOPLE to alter it or abolish it....”

I don’t believe that we can’t right the wrong that is happening to our Country. But, I know this...there will be those who will stand against us, those who will join the effort and those who do not care.

I am going to try to save this great Country. I am doing it for my children, grand kids and out of respect for all of those who have gone before me and fought for my freedom.

It is my generation’s turn to stand up, face our fears, ask for divine guidance and fight for our freedom.

We have no choice and there is no magical leader going to save us. God will be our guide on this journey as He should be.

God will be our guide on this journey as He should be.

God is not going to guide a nation that has allowed it's culture to become Godless and perverted and it's faith lukewarm.

As individual as the Founders were - most were beholden to the scriptures and the lessons they taught. Adams was paraphrasing Deuteronomy 28 and parts of Lamentations in light of history. Unless this nation does a II Chronicles 7:14 - our fate is going to be no different than those republics before us, except in how mighty we have fallen into ruin.

Americans don't want to hear this - probably not anymore than Ancient Israel was willing to hear the truth from Jeremiah. They eventually killed him to shut him up, because they didn't want to hear anything but smooth and easy things.

God has to come first, not voting for politicians to save us. And I'm not talking about the superficial lip-service kind of head-nod to God, I'm talking about a nation on their faces in tears and repentance.

Until we as a nation do that - I would not be counting on God to fight any battles for us, and Adam's letter to Abigail will be proven not only correct, but a prophecy that we ignored.
