I think an accountant-type (although I don’t think that’s what Ryan is) is exactly what people want to see. And adult who can do the math, and nmake grown-up decisions.

I've seen Ryan speak. He knows his stuff. But he's not what I would call "charismatic." We need speakers who know their stuff, but to energize the stay-at-home Republicans and influence the swing votes, we also need some charisma.
