PFL
Maybe you should listen to her.
Another quote..” You can not lead from behind”
“We don’t have much time.” If we are tough and smart we can win this thing. (paraphrasing).
I’m becoming hopeful that we can win this mess.
I’m always interested in football teams. Very often both sides have guys that are big and fast and agile and can throw but there is only one winner. The winner in these skill matched games is of course the team with the best leadership and that is usually the team that believes in its core that it can win. I saw a little of that in Ryan tonight.
Next came his tribute to his Mom and a crack in his voice. Not a Clintoon tear or crack in the voice but a real one.
If he does not mess up somewhere along the line or get done away with we are seeing a future President. With leadership and mentoring he will also know what it takes to groom the President that follows him. There can be choices to make between Ryan and perhaps Rand Paul but the choices are being made now and once the die is cast it is hard to break. Like in so many things, there are lots of good people but only a few get the opportunities and often for very subtle reasons.
I pray this youngster has and holds humility and never forgets where he came from and always recognizes that leadership is a sacred opportunity and that political power is to serve and is only on loan from THE PEOPLE you serve.
If we win this election I believe we will see a Conservative and Constitutional revival. If there is any sense in the youngsters they will strip away the garbage that has destroyed our principles, all but killed the Constitution and driven us to despair and the brink of ruin. Somehow, maybe, God willing, we will get back to basics. We still have the RINOs to get rid of though.
He is of the generation the “Fourth Turning” said would lead us out of the crisis we are in and that is not yet over.
I may never see another Demorat president in my life time if this election is won by the Republicans. I pray it is and I pray that it leads to a revival of American principles based on God and the Constitution as it was written and not as it has been amended and interpreted. If it all comes to pass I pray for leadership of strength, honor and humility. It has been before and it is possible again.
God Bless America
What would be cool is to be able to have obastard’s columns crumble then a new backdrop rise from the rubble.
I very much doubt Rick Perry will ever get another shot at national office. The torch is being passed if the Republicans win this election. The Boomer generation will now be leaving the limelight. They may be allowed to coach but they will be on the stage less and less.
If this election is won by the Republicans the rats will be scrambling to catch up for a long time because after obastard, they have nothing but more screeching.
I like Rand Paul, but will the crazy Paul Bots take his lead?
Ron Paul supporters are nuts!
BTW, please ping me with your post, Thursday and Friday
Heavens to Murgatroyd! I watched Rand Paul, then the baby wanted a story from her new storybook! Laid down beside her and fell asleep and missed EVERYTHING! Now just watched the rerun on Fox. Wow is all I can say. Just wow. Ryan gives me back the hope that I lost along the way to here.
I pray so hard sometimes it makes my head numb, but I keep on keeping on. We MUST win this. We simply must.
That song, as I typed it, is really a metaphor for what is happening right now. Paul Ryan spoke tonight and the lump is still in my throat.
“I love him and I want to have his children. Really. ;-)”
I think he’s keeping them. LOL
“I think somewhere in DC, Obama is looking for a new pair of pants”
That’s easy. Raid mickie the mooch’s closet.
Gov. Martinez was relating a job she had working at her parents’ new security business as a young woman where she protected Bing nights at a local church. Her father made sure she was well armed, with a 357 Magnum.
Sure glad our past contributions went to a good cause. Heh.
5:45am. Looked it up: 21y-rs old now. Maybe it was legal when she was 18. Don’t know. Maybe they’ve gone much more lib-dem (Richardson etc) in that state, in recent years. Dunno.
That yahoo idiot got his azz fired for saying that. Good riddance, moron.
According to the Friends the cat is out of the bag...it’s Clint. Too bad people tuning in to see him will have missed Paul Ryan, Condi, Ann and some of the other great speakers.
I missed him and the Bush movie...will have to find some clips.
