On August 6, 2011, 30 US service members killed when a CH-47 Chinook helicopter they were being transported in crashed in Wardak province, Afghanistan. It was the deadliest single loss for U.S. forces in the decade-long war in Afghanistan. 17 members of the elite Navy SEALs were killed in the crash.
Yesterday, Karen and Billy Vaughn, parents of Aaron Carson Vaughn, spoke at the Defending the Defenders forum sponsored by the Tea Party Patriots outside the RNC Convention in Tampa. Karen brought a copy of the form letter they were sent following their son’s death.
It’s a form letter.
It was signed by an electric pen.
That’s not all. Karen Vaughn reached out to the parents of the other SEALs killed in that crash. They’re letters were all the same. Form letters – signed by an electric pen.
After the deadliest single loss of US forces in Afghanistan, Barack Obama sent out form letters to the parents.
Every vote matters from every state.
Why is his signature so damn big?
In the sense of Gore v. Bush where Gore won the popular vote but Bush the E.C. in 2000?

Then how do you choose. Soldiers killed on a singular mission of extreme import rate more personal attention from the Commander in Chief than other soldiers killed in combat but were not engaged in a singular mission of extreme import?

Look. - I have given Hussein a pass on this. Give it a rest. OSAMA BIN LADEN was the primary kingpin on which this whole terrorist deal has hung. - Of course! Other soldiers in combat are vital. Don’t be obtuse. My own father was a WWII combat veteran; I’ve lived with the results of a battered, shell-shocked veteran for many years & have forgotten more about the life of the combat veteran than you likely will ever know.
I have always found it disturbingly coincidental that this unprecedented tragedy occurred shortly after Bin Laden was “killed”.
One can draw several conclusions, and all of them are sickening.
