The woman was very, very stupid for going outside at 10:30 at night after hearing noises. I am sorry she got shot, but she brought this upon herself.
The deputy was looking for a person wearing a ski mask at night and suddenly comes face to face with a stranger. His reaction is not surprising considering the circumstances.
