Romney could be a worse threat. Republicans will be forced to fight Obama if he is president. If Romney gets elected, there will be no one against socialism. It's laughable to think the House will stop him. Look at how bad they were when Bush was president. I shudder to think what Romney, Pelosi, and Reid would do. An immigration bill that will make you wish you weren't a U.S. citizen. Socialized medicine more extreme than any country in the world. Terrible restrictions on religion.
I am not saying I want Obama to be reelected. But I have a big difference than you.
You want to give Romney the message that you will support him no matter what, no matter how extreme to the left he goes.
I want to give him the message he will not be supported if he doesn't toe the line. I don't understand why you want to give him a blank check to do anything he wants.
But there is a scary part you haven't even realized. Romney can make it so no conservative or moderate ever gets an influence over the GOP. He is already changing convention rules that takes all power from the grassroots, and gives it too the establishment. What is your plan about that. After 2012 conservatives and moderates will be locked out of the GOP for good.

When did we ever even have any discourse about Pelosi & Reid? or on the “illegal immigration” issue? Or on restrictions on religion? You keep presenting a moving target in your argumentation.
You at least mention socialized medicine, but then make the outlandish statement that it will be more extreme than “any country in the world”. Based upon what factual and verifiable information do you make that assessment?
I do not think you want Obama re-elected and I will not make that statement that not voting Romeny means you want Obama re-elected, that would be distorting your position.
My vote is not a blank check, and if he veers too far out of line (I do not expect 100% agreement with my positions), I will work to make him a one term president come 2016.
