Paint him as champion of staes rights? Hardly, I only stated the Tenth Amendment gives Romneycare some cover under the Constitution. I do not support Romneycare, I do support the right of the citizens of Massachusetts to be stupid and vote for this albatross and suffer the consequences. Obamacare cannot hide under the Tenth Amendment, it was disgusting that Roberts chose to give Obamacare cover under federal government taxation powers. Even under that premise, he should have forced Congress to pass it as a tax. As far as what Romney will do in office is speculation because he is also a free-market capitalist, we know what Obama will do. I would much rather have any number of other choices than Romney, sadly he is the only option.
I agree, Romney’s the only option at this point.
And I had high hopes for him when I was in the MA GOP and he came in as governor. I know now that he’s a big government technocrat, unfortunately.
