The Republican Party has many wings, but since the rise of the “Rockefeller Republicans,” the Republicans have paid more attention to those who disagree with the tenants of our Republic than to those who do agree.

Going back even further, George Romney was fearful of the “bad” influence of Goldwater Conservatives on the Republican Party, and probably that is reflected by how his son Willard Mitt Romney thinks of Conservatives today.

In sports, when a team is doing poorly against an opposing team, the remedy is TO GO BACK TO BASICS.

With the Republicans, who as “Team McCain,” did poorly against the evil “Obamanation Express,” the new Captain of Team McCain has chosen to bring in Reasonable Ryan to run interference for an unchanged McCain style offense.

Will “Team Romney” GET BACK TO BASICS during this Convention, or just follow the well-worn path of trying to be the same old wishy-washy, spineless, Republicans in name only?

Tick-Tock Romney, Tick-Tock.

If you keep doing what you’re doing, you’ll keep getting what you got.
