I still like Jimmy Akin's quote (which was before Romney was the presumptive nominee, but I don't see any recent posts whereby Akin changes his mind):
To elect a Mormon to the American presidency would, to my mind, be a disaster. It would not only spur Mormon recruitment efforts in numerous ways, it would mainstreamize the religion in a way that would deeply confuse the American public about the central doctrine of the Christian faith. It would give the public the idea that Mormons are Christian (an all-too-frequent misunderstanding as it is) and that polytheism is somehow compatible with Christianity. In other words, it would deal a huge blow to the American public’s already shaky understanding of what Christianity is. That means it would massively compromise a fundamental value on the scale of the abortion issue. Faced with the choice of voting for a pro-life polytheist-claiming-to-be-Christian or a pro-abortion whatever, I might well choose to simply sit out that race and refrain from voting for either candidate, because voting either way would mean doing massive damage to America. --Jimmy Akin, senior apologist for Catholic Answers and contributing editor for Catholic Answers Magazine, "Should America Elect a Polytheist Who Claims to Be Christian?"
This is a very good time to pray if one hasn't already been doing so. Miracles do happen; but only if you request one.

Despite your confabulated post, Myth ROmney tanked Massachusetts.

"As U.S. real output grew 13 percent between 2002 and 2006, Massachusetts trailed at 9 percent.
* Manufacturing employment fell 7 percent nationwide those years, but sank 14 percent under Romney, placing Massachusetts 48th among the states.
* Between fall 2003 and autumn 2006, U.S. job growth averaged 5.4 percent, nearly three times Massachusetts' anemic 1.9 percent pace.
* While 8 million Americans over age 16 found work between 2002 and 2006, the number of employed Massachusetts residents actually declined by 8,500 during those years.
"Massachusetts was the only state to have failed to post any gain in its pool of employed residents," professors Sum and McLaughlin concluded.
In an April 2003 meeting with the Massachusetts congressional delegation in Washington, Romney failed to endorse President Bush's $726 billion tax-cut proposal."

Where in the Constitution does it give the Supreme Court more power than any of us (or than the President, for that matter) to determine what is and is not Constitutional?

Why don’t you cut out your insults. Every time you reply with someone who doesn’t agree with you, you insult them calling them idiots or democrats. Grow up.

He won legitimately. Yes, I’m aware about irregularities in MI, VA, and some other places. Yet, if conservatives were united and agreed on one candidate, those wouldn’t have been enough to carry him to the nomination. Especially after the super Tuesday. For this reason, I keep repeating what I wrote before. Instead of bemoaning Romney’s campaign, get over it and work to make sure 2008 and 2012 won’t happen again in 2016, regardless the outcome of this year’s election.

Mr. RomneyCARE cheated. He always cheats.

He LOST IOWA but the MSM said otherwise.
Did you forget?
Even now, his Team is attacking those who nominate
to FIX the system.

Mr. RomneyCARE cheats, and cheats and denies
every conservative issue.

Romney can’t stop being Romney.

I noticed in the interview, Chris Wallace brought up the Romneys’ donations to Planned Parenthood, and Mitt quickly shrugged it off as donating for breast exams. LOL

Understood, of course. With the current structure of our Federal government, the President may not have the authority to declare laws unconstitutional. However, the President does have quite a bit of leeway in which to deal with bills and laws he believes to be unconstitutional: he can veto them, execute/enforce them in a way he believes is consistent with the Constitution (e.g., give waivers to anyone who asks), refuse to defend them in court (see what Obama has done with DOMA), etc. So, my point is that Romney's view of the Constitutionality of Obamacare is relevant, as it will inform his actions on future bills, bills associated with Obamacare, etc. (that is, if you believe his currently stated view of the Constitutionality of the bill. His view could change any second, but that's a different issue.)

??????????????????????????????????

See response above from Madd Dawg - appropriately named.

And you call me insulting.

Check my earlier posts. I supported Bachmann, Santorum and Cain in the primaries - all in succession and contributed to all their campaigns. Romney was the VERY LAST choice and I too, was almost willing to stay home after comments he made with which I disgreed.

BUT, PERSPECTIVE!!!!

Another four more years of Obama will RUIN US!!! We will be beyond the “Tipping Point”. We will loose our eminent status in the free world, and, with it, our economic strengths. That will lead us down a path towards Western European socialism.

DON’T vote Romeny then, tell yourself you are voting against OBAMA.

Well, “SPARKY,” I’d rather live ANYWHERE in America than in KENYA! Even WITH those figures.

And if they BOTHER you so much, why would you help put the idiot back in office who let them RISE to that level without doing ANYTHING other than destroy our economy in the past four year???

So now its Taft. How about TR? He was a “progressive” too. How about Lincoln? He suspended Habeas corpus! How about Washington himself? He was a rebel! Our economic problems go back to George Bush I. HE put Ronald Reagan’s revolution in reverse, followed by all of his successors and Obama is the WORST of them. They go back further to Wilson. HE was the FIRT in a series fo reality challenged idiots. Taft WAS a problem. BUT we had more Republicans who were on the RIGHT track in the past century than DEMOCRATS who were, to a MAN, leftists.

I have no party loyalty. I just don’t want a Marxist Muslim in the White House and I have the sense to realize that you can’t start a NEW party if you haven’t even got the power and organization to take over an EXISTING party!!

The Communists learned that back in the 1950s so they took over the DEMOCRAT party and Barrack Hussein Obama is their latest triumph!

We have a better chance of advancing our agenda with ROmney in the White House and a GOP controlled Congress keeping his feet to the fire than we do with Obama in the White House and a GOP Congress or even WORSE, another four more years of Obama, and, thanks to idiots like Aiken, a DEMOCRAT controlled Congress.

So “SPARKY,” WISE UP!!!!!

He’s really, really making it hard to choke down the vomit long enough to vote for him.

I can’t stand the Republican party if this is what they’re going to force feed us every presidential election.
