“Why can’t he be proud of it? That is what his constituents demanded.”

His constituents made the mistake of believing his lies, and RomneyCare is an absolute failure that has only succeeded in usurping power from the people.

First, his advisors are not running for the office, Mittens is, he has said he will repeal it.

In a state whose legislature was heavily democrat, so much so that they could override any veto, he woould not have been able to get a conservative approved. I grew up in Taxachusetts, so i know the state well.

And who will hold Obama’s feet to the fire? We have a undeniably much better chance with Mittens than with Obama.

I am aware that this is not going to change your mind, your beliefs are heartfelt, but your argument does not hold the substance necessary to change mine, which are equally heartfelt.

Well he has a law degree but he is not a lawyer. Did he ever practice law?

“From my point of view, I cannot accept the illogic of trying to equate voting for Mittens as equivalent to voting for Obama. To me, that is simply intellectually dishonest. Romeny has stated he will repeal Obamacare, obviously Obama will not”....

~ ~ ~

“Dishonest”...

It doesn’t matter what Mitt says he’s going to do. It is on record, 4 times, he’s gone from supporting abortion to saying he is for life. RomneyCare provides abortion.

“1. “Romneycare did not rob $716 billion from Medicare to finance itself like Obamacare does”

2. Romneycare did not raise taxes like Obamacare does””

Romney is a liar. 50 percent of MA healthcare is paid for by the federal government. Romney raises “fees” by millions and mandates insurance, and takes your rebate check away (if you get one!) if you don’t, and then claims he didn’t raise taxes on you. He is a freaking liar who plays word games all the time.

Mitt passed the Michigan Bar in 1975 and was admitted to practice law in 1976.

Ok, so in one sentence you say my convictions are heartfelt but have no substance.
In one sentence you say that Romney did the best he could in a liberal state.
Second one first, have you wondered why he ran in a liberal state? I say because he is a liberal and that’s where he could win. He didn’t appoint conservative judges because he is not a conservative, it is a nice cover however. “I did the best I could, but that darned liberal legislator.”
Everyone has the right to support whom they wish, I am choosing to not support a liberal.
No matter how you slice it, Romney is a liberal. That’s who he has been his whole life.
I once voted for VP, I am not doing that again.
We have come to this point because the GOPe has chosen increasingly liberal Republicans in the primary and we the conservative base have let them, saying “next time it will be different”.
Well, it is different, we now have the probably the most liberal Republican ever as nominee.
There is a time to finally stand.

Obama says pluck them from the womb in the 3rd trimester when they are viable.

He says let them spill on the cold floor and stomp om their head.

I say FUBO!

FactCheck.org independently obtained a complete list of veto overrides covering all four of Romney’s budgets.

The overrides for fiscal years 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007 total 707 of the more than 800 line-item vetoes that Romney issued.

It’s worth noting the General Court, Massachusetts’ legislative body, was overwhelmingly Democratic while Romney was governor. Even now, the House consists of 141 Democrats and only 19 Republicans, while the Senate has 34 Democrats, five Republicans and one vacant seat. But in some cases even the Republicans went against Romney. His minimum wage veto was overridden unanimously, for example. In that instance the House voted against him 152 to 0, and minutes later the Senate voted 38 to 0.

Why did Romney even choose to run for governor in Massachusetts, instead of Utah, both were available.

People forget that Romney has been involved in politics all of his life, starting as an intern in the governor’s office as a teen, attending his father’s protest against Goldwater at the 1964 convention, being anti-Vietnam war, donating to and fund raising for, even voting for democrats later in life. Leaving the GOP because of Reagan, spending his own money on anti-flat tax ads in the 1990s to fight Forbes, coming out against Jesse Helms, fund raising for Planned Parenthood, speaking out against the ‘Contract with America’.

How did Mitt Romney so thoroughly conceal any conservative beliefs or impulses in his public and personal life until he started running for the 2008 primary, that is almost 60 years of living and it was during the pro life movement, the Reagan Revolution, the 1994 Republican Revolution, the gun rights fights, wars, the Clinton years, how and why was he always on the wrong side?

So what this says is that as governor he was completely ineffectual.

There's nothing stupid about it.

This election will be decided by independents. Romney wants to "repeal and replace" ObamaCare and healthcare is one of the two three issues on voters minds. He absolutely must make the case that he is credible on this issue and none of the others have RomneyCare, whatever we might think of it, to point to as proof.

Babies who survive their abortions are not protected by the Equal Protection Clause of the Constitution. Speaking against the Born Alive Infant Protection Act on the IL Senate floor on March 30, 2001, Obama, the sole verbal opponent to the bill

A ban to stop aborted babies from being shelved to die would be burdensome to their mothers. She alone should decide whether her baby lives or dies. Before voting “no” for a 2nd time in the Senate Judiciary Committee on March 5, 2002, Obama stated:

” What we are doing here is to create one more burden on women, and I can’t support that.”

“I say FUBO!” I’ll second that.

My Congressman (Don Manzullo) is a very reliable conservative with 22 years’ seniority. He was purged in this years’ primary by $600,000 in party hack (”Young Guns”) money from out of state rounded up and sent by Boehner, Cantor and McCarthy in favor of a young slimeball Adam Kinzinger who promised the TEA Party in his somewhat distant district everything and promptly turned whore for “leadership” upon arrival in DC. Don Manzullo’s crime??? He sent an open letter to Boehner last December asking that Congress be called back into session to pass a resolution telling Obozo NO MORE INCREASES IN THE DEBT CEILING!!! If that got my Congressman politically executed, just imagine what the corrupt whores in “leadership” will do to satisfy Mittler. Stop kidding yourself that Congress can grow a pair OR a backbone. The Senate “leadership of Mitch Spaghetti Spine McConnell and John Cornyn and others is just as bad. Blow it up and start over again. Purge each and every financially corrupted GOP E stooge and lap dog.

I do not claim an insight into Mittens’s decison making process. As far as being involved in politics all his life, he did not choose to be born into a political family, he did also work in the private sector and was successful. I do not claim any insight into the evolution of his political position, in fact, I am sure some of them are for political expediency, I do not claim any purity for him.

Once again, I am not a lover of Mittens, he was not my original choice nor second nor third choice. But I am firmly against Obama and will do all I can to defeat him. I will not let him destroy our country without at least trying to prevent giving him four more years to do so. My driving force is love of our country and not giving Obama four more years, I reject the argument of a vote for Mittens and Obama being the same.

So does Mittens when he isn’t running for POTUS. Well, except if you’re a Mormon. That’s always bad. Heck, one of Mittens’ former house maids says Mittens told her to give up her kid to the LDS since she had him outside of marriage. She refused though.
