Today, on Fox News Sunday:

My family knows Romney as well.
They don’t like him, yet because they are mormon they will support him whole hog.
Just because Romney maybe a nice guy is no reason to vote for him, my husband is a nice guy and I would never want him as president.
Please expand on that?
Is what is said wrong or actually to the point?
Anyone who wants to be president has to be severely psychologically damaged.
Completely untrue.
There is nothing Romney does which is contradictory to mormonism.
Well, for one aren’t Mormons supposed to be pro-life? Is there any reason to believe Romney is more Mormon than John Kerry was Catholic. (Not that that’s a reason to vote for or against him. But one might expect a Mormon to be a little conservative)
Why don’t you like him? Specifics please. My boss was at Harvard medical school and thought he ran the state well and was a great guy, good administrator and sharp with a pencil, great organizer and responsive as Gov.
“We need to realize that you CAN NOT depend on the Supreme court. Romney won, I sent money to both Cain and Gingrich my guys lost! Romney is far and away better than Obama on ANY level, and I would vote for my dead dog over Obama. We simply can not run trillion dollar deficits for the next 4 years. WE barrow 40 cents on every dollar. We will barrow 90 cents on every dollar if Obama gets for more years. Obama simply declares laws null and void with the stroke of his pen. America will have more illegals voting if Obama wins than citizens and you think Romney will be worse than that because he passed Romney care in MA.? You really think 4 more years of Eric Holder is OK?”

Romney like Obama can’t hide who he is and you’re going with Romney and only on hope? Where is the man’s character, virtue? He needs God’s grace to do a good thing.
Our prayers can help Romney and Obama...convert one day.
Sad about Obama, a no good father. If only he could turn
to the best father, God the Father.
That’s why it is very, very important to believe in the Trinity. Sad, back to our other choice.
I had the same thoughts as you.
I am probably different than most Freepers, but I would actually respect Romney more if he seemed to believe in his own religion, whichever religion that happened to be. (In this case, LDS) I am not Mormon, but I would never hold it against him that he is. It’s just that like most politicians, it’s just a cultural thing, I’m not sure he actually believes in it or anything.
Romney did turn around the Olympics, well only if you count he had $600,000,000 bail out from the tax payers.
Turned around MA, interesting not according to people who are aware that live there.
Romney is not in any fashion who you dream that he is.
If he did such a great job in MA, he would have run for reelection,,,,,,,,,hint he didn’t.
1. “Romneycare did not rob $716 billion from Medicare to finance itself like Obamacare does”
2. Romneycare did not raise taxes like Obamacare does”
These are the two primary talking points that the Romney/GOP-e team have used to shut down the Obots in the two weeks since Ryan was selected. It was confidence in this framing that emboldened Romney to pick Ryan!
It’s more like athletes foot or jock itch.
Ive read the book of Mormon, Ive read the Koran.
Don’t subscribe to either, but I will say this,
All the Mormons I have known are decent people.
Romneycare coerced upon the 50 states at the state level is no better than Obamacare, as they’ll end up in the same place, which is one nationalized system.
That could be good in Romney's records but most CEOs are neither Republican or conservative. But the other things don't really seem like reasons to vote for someone is president. I mean it's nice that he organized a search for a missing child, but you vote for a president based on that? Probably some far left people have done that too. All of the other things you list, besides the first, sound like they could come under the heading of, "community organizer." Interesting you would pick that theme.
I do not know Romney personally.
I said my mormon family does not like him.
>> He is done with the Geriatric Old Plotters, and so am I
Except if Dole and McCain won, there would have been no 9-11 nor Obamacare.
I’m not seeing the wisdom of this proud defiance, and I’m concerned about the next disaster it will deliver.
“Indefinite” only from the viewpoint of the general government.
But those state powers are definitely definite as concerns the powers granted to them by the people via their state constitutions.
And there are intrinsic natural law limitations on their legitimate powers as well.
