I know who Jack Ryan is. Saying something really dumb (as Akin did) is nothing like having your opponent sue to get your divorce records unsealed and reveal embarrassing personal details. It's not even remotely analogous.
Like it or not, when you run for office, your job is to persuade people to vote for you. Akin, in this interview, certainly showed that he lacks that skill. His opponents' financial contributions to his campaign suggest that they probably already knew that.
You can scroll back up the thread and re-read my posts. I don't remember saying he should drop out. But Sarah Palin has, so I'm sure you think she's an "ass clown" dedicated to preventing conservative victories.
Personally, I am simply in stunned amazement that anybody could possibly think his performance in that interview was anything but a head-shaking embarrassment.
His "opponent" didn't sue to get them unsealed, the media did.
The days of you moderates (aka liberals) running things and bulling good hard working Americans into submission is over. We're fighting back so deal with it.
Ciao
Regarding said club, I know only that it's been at various different addresses over the years, but it keeps popping up.
We went with friends to NYC to see their daughter's graduation ~ she lived in an older building but it was "Safe" ~ or so we thought. On the way into the lobby we walked by that club immediately adjacent to this residence.
My friends who were aghast said it hadn't been there the three or four weeks before when they'd visited!
It's shortly after that visit that the Ryans made their fateful visit.
Knowing that it relocates regularly I wonder how it was Ryan knew where to go and why. Was he a regular perhaps?
