If you said that about Claire McCaskill I'd call you out for making offensive and unfounded comments that make Republicans look bad.

In Akin’s case, you are factually wrong in addition to highly offensive. He has six children. He married his wife in 1975 and in the 37 years of their marriage has had six children.

Why are you implying that a fellow conservative Republican is a homosexual pedophile?

Also, I'm not particularly fond of Ivy League educations, but Akin’s father and grandfather were both Harvard graduates and the family owned a steel company in St. Louis. That's not “barefoot inbred trailer trash,” as you put it.

Attack Akin for his stupid comment all you want. I've done so repeatedly. But don't circulate factually false claims.

Here are two recent articles on Todd Akin’s faith that may be relevant. As I think we all know by know, he's a graduate of Covenant Theological Seminary and a ruling elder in the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA).

I am quite a bit more conservative than Todd Akin theologically, but it looks to me as if this is a man who wasn't particularly liked by the mainstream Republican establishment and they're now trying to push him out.

Akin blew it, big time. No question about that. The only question left is what do we do now that he won't leave on his own. I don't think there's any answer to that question that doesn't involve Akin which won't lead to a McCaskill re-election.

Thanks for the ping darrellmaurina. hecht is a perfect example of how desperate baby killers are. They can't stand it when someone exposes their real agenda. When Akin exposed the red herring (or if you prefer.... straw-man) "rape" as justification for murdering a child they thought they'd found their poster boy. In their tiny little, uneducated minds they believe most people favor murdering the most innocent among us. They are wrong. I personally am so happy that Akin is standing his ground and refusing to be shamed out of the race simply because a handful of loudmouthed worshipers of infanticide want him tarred and feathered.
There is NO SHAME in drawing a line in the sand and saying, "ENOUGH." I WILL NOT 'compromise' with the lives of children.
One of Marx's foundational rules is to forward his cause by two steps (or more if possible) before being forced to take one step back. This is called 'compromise.' We have 'compromised' our nation onto the brink of extinction beginning with the murdering of our young. We need to stop these liberal assclowns and rino assclowns before they succeed in destroying our nation.

We need to stop making excuses for bad behavior and start condemning it. Akin's comment was NOT bad behavior. What he was exposing is the bad behavior.
Now we need a few hundred more Akin's to take solid stands for not only the unborn but America, our Constitution and our CHRISTIAN way of life.
