Nobody I know has seen it and I’m wondering if all the press I hear is true or propaganda to increase sales.

The Movie Reviews!
"Columbus Circle" (PG-13) with Selma Blair, Amy Smart, Jason Lee, Giovanni Ribisi, Kevin Pollak, Beau Bridges, Jason Antoon, Jerry Penacoli, Robert Guillaume, Samm Levine
This movie is a labor of love; many in the cast are among the producers and writers. Selma Blair is an agoraphobic millionaire who dropped out of life with her late parents' fortune when she was 18. She bought an apartment in Columbus Circle, NY, and never left it again. Her former guardian and current mentor, Beau Bridges, the building's concierge, Kevin Pollak, and her computer are her three links to the outside that she has abandoned. But when the tenant across the hall passes away, her new neighbors try to draw her back out into the world. It was a tad predictable, but the story was very good, and the acting was near perfect. We gave it ★★★★
"Kill List" (Not Rated) with Neil Maskell, Michael Smiley, MyAnna Buring, Emma Fryer, Harry Simpson, Ben Crompton, Gemma Lise Thorton, Robin Hill, Struan Rodger, Gareth Tunley
This is a terrible movie, just awful. It's very violent, contains satanism and full-monty nudity, bot sexes, and torture and death of a child and others. The story is a jumble, and the actors speak Cockney and mumble a lot, so the dialog is unintelligible in many scenes. Do not waste your money or a Netflix rental on this turkey about a couple of nasty hitmen who make a mistake and pay for it horribly. We gave it ★ (We hated it).

Back in 1927 an American Socialist, Norman Thomas, six time candidate for the Socialist Party Ticket
said the American People would never vote for Socialism but, under the name of Liberalism
the American People will adapt every fragment of the Socialist program.
There are many ways our government has invaded the precints of private citizens,
the method of earning a living, ...
At the moment I'd like to talk about another because this threat is with us and at the
moment is more imminent.
One of the traditional methods of imposing statism or socialism on a people has been by way of medicine.
It is very easy to disguise a medical program as a humanitarian project. Most people are a little reluctant
to oppose anything that suggests medical care for people that possibly cannot afford it.
Now, the American People, if you put it to them about socialised medicine and gave them a chance to choose,
would unhesitatingly vote against it. We have an example of this. Under the Truman Administration,
it was proposed that we have compulsory health insurance for all people in the United States and of course,
the American People unhesitatingly opposed this.
more... Listen to it here.

Kill List gave a better review than Columbus Circle; I just looked them up. They are both in my favorite genres and I’d watch both of them, too.
Have you seen Chronicle? Three kids suddenly get superpowers...

Thank you, TOL! That second movie sounds dreadful, which is very good to know.

Sorry, but Kill List was ‘way over the top for us. We’re going to have to be more careful with NR and R rated movies.
We gave Chronicle four stars. It was really good.

We watch that every year at Christmastime. Ralphy is the image of Hubby when he was that age. And Randy looks a bit like Hubby’s brother, and the age difference is about the same. We never get sick of it.
To: trisham
LOL! It reminds me of growing up. We were always blowing fuses, losing electric power, oil burner going up in smoke and changing flats.
I love it and would not change it for anything. LOL!
