Exactly! But the downside is that if Akin loses that seat and / or Romney loses Missouri and the general election we will no longer be able to blame the GOP Establishment and the RINOs for the results of that defeat. By standing behind Akin (instead of quickly replacing him) he bought ownership of either a victory or the defeat.
The latter is unfortunate. At least before we was able to tell the RINOs "we told you so". That's out the window now.
Akin has not only hurt the pro-life movement but the conservative movement as well.
