My take is I think Mr. Akin stumbled over his words, but from what I can tell, didn’t mean any harm. I agree with Huckabee on this one. Doesn’t necessarily look like a substantive issue. Looks like a feeding frenzy.
Feeding frenzies cannot happen to someone who is a good politician. That’s the difference between a good politician and a bad politician.
You can have the second best voting record next to Jesus but if you’re not a good politican your record is useless.
