It is highly unlikely that Zero Dark Thirty will be altered on the basis of this book.

If there are discrepancies between the two versions, Hollyweird will have to conform to the soon to be released book’s version or else all those troops involved in the raid will be screaming out to the public about any lies found in the movie version, which will make the Obama Admin look very, very bad.

Let me qualify what I just said. It is possible that the Obama Admin just handed over the actual transcripts of the event to the movie makers, thus completely spilling the beans on the allegedly “secret” raid, giving up state secrets in contravention of law. If that was the case, then there would be little editing upon the book having been released for publication, as the two would match up.

However, that would be an even more ghastly scenario, because if the movie and the book match up almost perfectly, therein lies the proof that the Obama Admin gave away actual secret mission information with impunity to an outside party, putting any future missions in jeopardy, and thus they should be brought up on treason charges for having done so.
