Florida delegates should tell the RNC to go screw and to stop letting New Hampshire from giving worthless moderates momentum.
Of course the RNC loves worthless moderates!
Enjoy it while you can, GOP.
Big Whoop. Delegates mean nothing. It’s not like they have any real say-so in the party or anything..........
Just my NSHO.
LLS
Agree. Better to provide momentum to conservative candidates.
Iowa and New Hampshire going first is something that needs to change. Also, there should be no opportunity for democrat crossover. Our system is rigged in favor of GOPe.
Very true.
Should be a National Primary Day.
But if our dial had been set to “Cain” on primary day and then his bimbo eruption happened afterward, we’d be in a bit of trouble.
“Our system is rigged in favor of GOPe.”
Right. It always will be. They are NEVER going to allow another Reagan upset to occur. Never.
We also need some restrictions on NOMINATING PETITIONS. Like, if you held a primary and disqualified fee paying registrants from being on the ballot due to "problems" with the petitions, then you lose ALL your delegates!
End of story.
They should stick the names of the states in a Bingo bin and the order they are drawn out is the order of the primaries.
Yeah its funny what the GOP chooses to punish vs what they choose to ignore.
They stripped Michigan of delegates for holding an earlier primary but didn’t have any problem with the delegate allocation rules being changed the night AFTER the primary in favor of their guy.
Seems to me that the GOP is building up a heap of bad ju ju.
No Caucuses will count. Only closed primaries will count for nominating a candidate.
The date of state primaries will be determined by the percentage of votes for the GOP candidate in the previous potus election. The states that most voted to elect a GOP potus WILL be voting first.
Liberal crapholes like CA,MA, and NY would some of the last to vote.
I am surprised to see. Florida has become THE ground zero to pick our moderate winner the last two cycles. With the size of the state and many media markets, the party favorites have an advantage here they can’t get in South Carolina, and the earlier primaries. It gives the party and the candidate funded with top fundraisers a huge opportunity to put away any upstarts or base voters. I would think the RNC would love it.
In my Humble Opinon, the GOP Primary selection rules are totally broken. The seat of power within the party must be removed from Washington DC, forever.
If they keep up the crap they pulled in the primary this time there will be another option. The GOP (which I have always been a part since I first voted) will cease to exist if this is not fixed.
I think this is a stupid, stupid rule. Florida is a battleground state that ought to have a bigger say in the nominee.
Frankly, NH is also a battleground state, so I don’t mind it having an early primary either.
But SC? It isn’t even close. Same with California. Or Utah. Why not let the Presidential battlegrounds have an earlier say in the selection of a nominee?
Umm its 2012 and there should be a GOP website.
You are asked 200 questions and get a number that represents you.
You then say if you want to be president,Rep or Senator for state or Fed and turn in an essay.
You get your own forum and people will have vetted you.
You then see if anyone would vote for you and see if your truly a rep or some money grabbing hack.
This is not hard but its what we should be doing.
The personal part of politics is after you have been vetted not during your nomination.
Geez any business that does not know its products before you place it on the shelves should go bankrupt.
