Detroit’s unemployment rate remains more than a point above the national average, sitting at 9.7 percent in June, but over the past three years, the unemployment rate in the city has decreased dramatically from its 27.8 percent rate in July 2009.

Translation, it was Bush's fault......

I've go news for you, Detroit's unemployment rate is likely around the 50% mark.......

Just today there were two stories on the news about house fires. In both cases, the electricity had been turned off a long time ago and the individuals living in one of the houses were relying on a space heater and pirating the electricity from an outside source which is very common

Plus with the huge decreases in the housing market in SEMI, 90% of the productive folks have been able to flee Detroit for greener pastures in the burbs. I’m sure that has dramatically changed the unemployment numbers...
