No worries, people like UncleSlayton will take pride in voting for an “ideologically pure candidate”, all while essentially sending an avowed abortionist back to the Senate as a result, but hey, they’ll sleep better at night for it.
This just shows the one issue voters would rather have a martyr to the cause than an electable candidate who would be a million times better for the unborn than McCaskill.
There is a real simple solution to all this. Akin steps aside and is replaced with a woman candidate. This issue would go away in a week. If he selfishly stays in this goes national and every GOP candidate will be carpet bombed with Akin’s comments until November.
