ROTFL @ Chinese take out! You never lose your delightful humor! I prayed for all day and your were in our thoughts. Sweet trisham asked about you and that gave me a reminder to pray the Rosary for you.
I knew you said you were going to a different hospital, but had no idea you would have difficulty finding it. Gosh, that’s the last stress you needed.
WELCOME HOME and so happy you’re back here with us where you belong!
Thought I’d had every test in the universe and then they started coming up with new tessts.
I have to have a GPS. My spouse, Wracked Rider, is a horrid driver and worse navigator. Whatever the opposite of navigator is, that’s him. LOL!
Online Google maps look best. It gave me 3 alternate routes and showed realtime traffic.
I’m whupped.
Than you and Bless you for what you stand for and what you accomplish.
He’ll be waiting for me. He’s still hanging around here, but I told him it’s okay to go. I know I will see him again.
You haven't gotten lost driving in a city till you've gotten lost on Boston's cow path created roads, roads that close or reverse direction frequently with no notice. Oy!
I hope the test comes out satisfactorily. I want to get this fixed so I can sleep again and I sure don't want that test redone.
Thank you so much for your prayers!
Your hubby did a masterful job of writing that article.
It appears you both have some great memories that will stay around to help you through this even though Rocket is gone.
I hope you are feeling better.
I hate getting lost. Using the Hancock as a reference point has always helped me to avoid getting lost in Boston, but that might not be at all helpful in other parts of the city. I also haven’t driven into the city alone since the late 80s or early 90s. It’s changed quite a bit since then.
and to become a monthly donor!
Sponsors will contribute $10 For each new monthly sign-up!
What a difficult experience! It’s tough driving into Boston for medical care, because you’ve already got so much on your mind, and trying to negotiate traffic and finding the location, parking, going through check-in, it’s just a lot for a person to cope with alone. If you have to go back, can someone go with you?
I have a Garmin GPS. I really like it. I can now blame any and EVERY tardiness on the talking girl inside of it. Spend around $140 (catch a sale Radio Shack,Best Buy etc) and MAKE SURE you get one with "Lifetime Updates".
As far as "Chinese food".......
My Hubby is an excellent writer, and he frequently gets published in the local paper with his political opinions.
He has been published in magazines that are related to his work, both technical information and humor related to his industry.
Yes, thank you so much, MM. I am starting to feel a bit better, and although I still haven’t let go just yet, the days are getting a little easier.
If traffic wasn't so insane getting around would be easier. I'm not sure it's really Boston where BI and B&W are. It's over by the Charles south of the BMFA.
You say you haven't been in for a long time. Some neighborhood I used to be familiar with have gone upscale and tree growth makes me feel my age. 39. LOL!
Oh, Rochester!
When I first started driving into Boston I would take Mt. Auburn St. or Route 2 to Memorial Dr. into Boston. Such a pretty drive. Now we take the Mass Pike when we go. Not so pretty.
