And the term "date rape" came into use about the same time as all the feminist nonsense about "no woman would make false claims of rape because the reporting and follow-up process is so traumatic". Forcible rape is forcible rape. Why do we need subcategories?
If subcategories are so important, why don't we talk about "stranger rape" and "teacher rape" and "marriage rape" and "gay rape" and quite a few others that could be named?
The term "date rape" has a political origin just as "undocumented immigrant" has a political origin. Both were made up for political purposes.
