We must save our nation from Obama. We’re not going to do it by fragging our best chance at replacing him. I’ve read all the non-sequitur postings about Romney being equally liberal, often posted within threads that were severely critical of anything except the claims of the posters themselves. Those never made sense. They were illogical. But they found spirit, comfort, sustainment and comraderie in their numbers.
Problem was that they were so focuesd on their enemy that they refused to study the big picture. That is the big problem with group-think.
I am truly amazed that you call this a surrender. You haven’t lost anything but your pride. The battle is bigger than our (that’s you and me) personal ideals. We are still in the battle for our nation’s future, but the plan has shifted. Remember your military history about battle plans?
Face the fact: Its Romney or Obama. Period. I don’t like our choice either, but I’m not going to screw over our nation and my children because I don’t like MR. Please, look at this in a new light. We will have an easier time fighting MR than BO.
Pride is irrelevant. A man stands for something or nothing. I choose to stand for everything that made America what it was.
I stand by conservative values and refuse to run in fear when the going gets uncomfortable. I don’t consider that prideful or courageous. I consider that something we all once stood for.
Sorry your fear clouds your judgement. But it does. I hope to live through the Romney presidency (because even I admit he will win) just to see all the excuses the ABOs come up with for his liberal edicts and the gutless congress who ‘hold his feet’ ...to the soft, comfy pillow.
