Absolutely. Home school or private school. Only options nowadays.
As you say - we can worry about the less-than-perfect details after the election is over and we have pulled our republic back from the abyss. Right now the object is to save it and not perfect it.
Let's roll!
There’s nothing anywhere, which says one cannot vote for Romney, while still opposing (everything) socialist he makes the mistake of supporting.
And that is assuming he’s even going to be somewhat to the left.
That remains to be seen. The USA is not Massachusetts.
Some very good long-time FReepers got (enthusiasticly) zotted for just such a heavy realization. I hope that they might be allowed back, should they be interested.
Which will be worse, 4 years of an openly opposed Obama, or 8 years of an unopposed Romney with nobody to oppose his socialist agenda?
I will be voting Constitution party at the top of the ticket and conservatives down ticket.
***************************
I am undecided. The Ryan selection moved me from ‘hell no’ to a very grudging ‘maybe’. I really can’t be sure until I get to the ballot box.
Right on! bttt
So, I wonder what the anti-FReepers are going to say about you today?
Romney will be a George Bush II and moderate us to hell. I am sure the Dems will run a Marxist (Hillary) in ‘16 forcing us to back Mortimer once again. God this sucks. Stultifying is the only word that comes to mind.
If this is some kind of ruse to gin up donations,....IT WORKED!
Actually, I believe you’re sincere about this Jim. I sheepishly admit I’ve never donated to FR, but I will today.
I've never been this concerned for the future of my country, and I've been here through Clinton and the war against Terrorism. Unless it looks like a blowout in my state for Romney, he is getting my vote.
You could NOT write a Hollywood script as creepy and depraved as the story of Obama.. This man must be defeated. Period. We must excise this cancer now, and dealt with the rest with Chemo..
“Romney will be a George Bush II and moderate us to hell”
Romney will be a Rockefeller.
Amen Jim. I had already drawn the same conclusions. We’ll get Romney elected, then we’ll hold his RINO feet to the fire! It gives me great, great hope that he chose Paul Ryan. The base is energized. Lets take the White House, House and Senate and set things right. First line of business is to get the usurper out of OUR White House!
God bless ya Jim! And thank you for all you do!

If the media chose what to report fairly and how it reported those stories fairly, the “American Idol electorate” wouldn’t be a problem. I’m being serious.
The problem we have is that 90+% of what’s broadcast, printed, and typed tilts left. It’s so prevalent that even people who are not political tilt left on the issues because that viewpoint is what they see and hear wherever they go.
Think bout it this way: The North Koreans LITERALLY believed Kim Jong Il was a deity. A god walking amongst us. They were (are) spoon fed only information which reinforced that fact. Then, when he rails about how evil the US is and that NK is in danger of imminent attack, of course the people rise up behind him. All they know is what they are told.
It’s the same theory here and is exactly why we always hear about the Fairness Doctrine being ressurected in some form or another. Control the message and you control the population. The Left wants complete control. In order to accomplish that, they would have us hear nothing but their viewpoint.
Breaking that hold - the hold the Left has on the media - is more important than any election. If we could accomplish that, everything else would follow.

Enthusiastically. My spelling’s in the crapper lately...with that turd Obama.
No kidding about that. See my tagline...
“Some very good long-time FReepers got (enthusiasticly) zotted for just such a heavy realization. I hope that they might be allowed back, should they be interested. “
Which begs the question...what happens to those who now buck the management and continue to work to defeat Romney? Those that even now are still posting threads to tear down the GOP nominee? Will they face the same fate of those who bucked the system in coming to same realization as Jim has now but only sooner?
We had four years of an openly opposed Obama and he just flipped congress and the people the bird and did what he wanted via executive orders and czars.
What will be worse is an Obama who doesn't have another election to run on. An Obama who knows he has four more years to enact the 'change' he wants and no more. An Obama turbocharged with the thought that he has a 'mandate' and people want his 'fundamental transformation'. An Obama who can stack the courts for a lifetime of ongoing change after he leaves office. (Supreme court justice Holder sounds nice doesn't it?) How about four years of Democrats knowing they won?
At least Mitt, with all his faults, will have to pander for his next election. He isn't an activist, just a RINO politician who cares about votes and money. In a perfect world, we wouldn't have to consider him, but it isn't perfect, we are up against a Marxist Activist. With that option, I'll take the surliest punk I can because that punk will be willing to 'soil his morals' and play dirty to stop him.
I will be voting Constitution party...
Rationally speaking, it is mathematically impossible for Goode to win, period. He isn't qualified on enough ballots to reach the 271 margin. The way electors are divvied out though, it is better to just not vote. Plus, why is Goode any better, he has a few years of pandering to the Right, but he is a former Dem who frankly, isn't much better than Mitt except he is bad at math.
