You can block those requests. I use fb simply because all my relatives live in Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, etc. and it is a great way to stay in touch with them.

It is an addictive fantasy game where people who have never seen a farm pretend to work on one. They get up at 5:00 to milk the cows, etc., and a variety of surprises await the true addict.

" Moo! *sob* Nobody will give me their Credit Card Numbers or Banking Passwords!....Will YOU be my FRIEND?"

I have otherwise intelligent friends who have become shut-ins and social cripples over this nonsense.
