It was a visit by schoolchildren to a mosque. Scottish/British schoolchildren visit mosques, Protestant and Catholic churches, Buddhist temples, synagogues, Sikh temples, as part of RE field trips.
Nothing new.
Nothing sinister.
I can remember myself visiting Presybterian, Catholic, Episcopalian and a Sikh temple as part of my RE teaching (1982-1988).
