Well your tag line betrays you. You would rather cling to your lofty notions of some mythical perfect political purity rather then live in the real world. You would rather spend your time complaining then actually do anything to move the conservative agenda forward.
So cling to your angry political irrelevancy, the rest of us are too busy saving the country to waste time on this absurd “Purity uber alles” dogma.
“Betrays” me? No. I’m not trying to hide anything.
I know the whole “lofty, self-righteous, angry, pouting purity freak” thing is the favored accusation to hurl, but it doesn’t wash. There’s no such thing as a pure candidate. Right now I’d be almost happy to cast a vote for Bob Dole if it meant getting rid of the current infection. Purity? Nope. I just want a candidate who didn’t engineer cheap abortions and who doesn’t love sodomites.
But I still really like Paul Ryan.
