There is a strong undercurrent of pederasty and sodomy in Islam. They don’t see it as conflicting even though the Koran officially opposes it.
It's not conflicting, in their eyes. An adult male being a fairy is condemned, because Islam needs tough warrior types. An adult male sodomizing young boys, however, is acceptable.
In other words, an adult male being "catcher" is condemned, but being "pitcher" is OK. The Muslim paradise, besides the 72 female virgins, has young boys as well Quran 52:24 "Round about them will serve, (devoted) to them, young male servants (handsome) as Pearls well-guarded. They will advance to each other, engaging in mutual enquiry. "
