Let’s be fair and admit that those present at the 2002 State of the Union delivered a rousing ovation when GWB proclaimed Islam to be a ROP.
None of those who were there have ever said that they had changed their opinion on Islam, which leads me to believe that they are still in agreement with Bush’ declaration.
I’ve not changed my opinion of the radical Wahabi Islam, the Moslem Brotherhood, Hamas, the Iranian mullahs, all of whom are for the destruction of Western civilization. Islam means submission, not peace. Unfortunately GWB was snookered by the pro-Islamic political-correctness folks. And many who supported him were and still are too ignorant of the facts. I guess I spent too much time in the Army doing threat analysis and studying what is going on in the middle east.
