There's a cop in big trouble for calling Carl Crawford a "Monday".

Apparently the word "Monday" has been determined to be racist code by the grievance brigades.

First I ever heard of it. I wonder what would have happened if he had uttered "Tuesday", "Wednesday", or "Thursday" or "January" or "February" instead. Seems like new "racist code" is constantly being imagined/invented on the fly.

It's beyond absurd.

Until enough people have the blinkers off, or at worst have been pushed so hard that their backs are right against the wall and they have nothing left to lose if they fight back, all I can do is speak out. It doesn't help that people, especially conservatives, are afraid of losing their livelihoods for speaking the truth, and with good reason. Actually, I hope the left does continue to push us past the point of mere absurdity-it looks like it will take us reaching that point before we start pushing back.

I don't get this continual insistence that we all speak in 'code'.

It's just more of the left's projection of their own action on their opponents. The left has a long history of trying to hide their meanings. For instance, the whole OWS tantrum. Every time you heard the word "banker" they meant "Jew." That's one of the reasons you don't hear much of that word uttered by the leftists any more. Because the left (going back centuries) have used that word pejoratively to mean "Jew."
